What is "Intentional Creativity"?
Intentional Creativity lives near the intersection of expressive art, myth-making, inquiry, manifesting and self-healing. No art training or experience is required. We paint for “process”, not “product”. You might end up with a painting that you like, and the step-by-step process is designed to help you with this.
Intentional Creativity often works with feminine images “sourced from within”. That is to say, we don’t look at an external object or scene and try to paint it. Instead, we connect with our sub-conscious minds and souls to bring out images from our own interior. It is an intuitive way of painting.
Intentional Creativity provides access to inner worlds that may otherwise go unnoticed. There may be stories running our lives that need to be excavated, examined and re-written. Using the physical medium of paint on canvas or paper, combined with written words, ritual, meditation and journaling can assist with transforming these stories and moving a step closer to authoring our own lives.

To my sensitive ones out there, who are feeling it ALL these days….
How is your self-care going? Are you able to find ways to rest and recover from the onslaught of distressing news and heightened emotions in the world?
Have you considered CULTIVATING JOY as an antidote to all that feels heavy and dark out there?
Although there are many practical steps available to positively impact the global situation, I believe that it is important to make space for -- and to even cultivate -- joy in our lives as well.
We can HOLD BOTH – the sorrow AND the joy.
Joy helps us to tolerate the sorrow. It NOURISHES our hearts and bodies, while REPLENISHING the reserves of RESILIENCE that we must draw from in time like these, so that we can continue to show up for those in need of our care.
If you would like to tap into the DEEP WELL-SPRING of joy that is always available to you, I invite you to join me for a new Intentional Creativity offering, “The River of Joy”.
